Terms of service
Last reviewed: TODO: date of last review
These terms cover use of this website. The terms of an actual engagement — scope, fees, ownership, notice periods — live in the written agreement for that engagement, and where the two differ, that agreement wins. TODO: have this reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
What this site is
An information site about Nightbell's services, plus a form for requesting a free audit and an automated assistant that answers questions from the site's own content.
The assistant
The assistant is automated. It answers from this website's content and will tell you when it does not know something. It does not give professional advice of any kind, and nothing it says forms a quote, a commitment or a contract. In an emergency, contact the relevant service directly.
The free audit
Requesting an audit authorises Nightbell to contact your business on the channels you have published, in the way a prospective customer would, for the purpose of measuring response. We will not book an appointment, and if asked directly by a member of your team whether we are a real customer, we will say that we are not. The audit is provided as-is and creates no obligation on either side.
Content on this site
The text, design and code of this site belong to Nightbell. You are welcome to quote from it with attribution. Work produced for a business under an engagement belongs to that business, as set out in their agreement.
Liability
We work to make everything on this site accurate, but it is provided without warranty and Nightbell is not liable for decisions made on the basis of general information published here. Liability under an engagement is addressed in that engagement's agreement.
TODO: a lawyer should set the governing law and jurisdiction clause here.
